Abi - And They Shall Become One Flesh at J/M Gallery

I first met Abi in 2022 at Inch Gallery in Altrincham, where we were both exhibiting in the Together group show. Since then, I’ve followed her work with admiration and respect. A multi-award-winning fine artist based in London, Abi works primarily in charcoal on paper, each piece part of an ongoing spiritual journey to explore the transient, layered nature of human experience.

These photographs were taken at her deeply evocative solo exhibition, And They Shall Become One Flesh, held at J/M Gallery in Notting Hill in May 2023. The show offered a powerful meditation on intimacy, embodiment, and connection, captured not only through her expressive linework, but in the stillness and presence of the space itself. It was an honour to document this moment in her evolving practice.
