For the fourth exhibtion, Victorious Voices partnered with Survivors West Yorkshire to present a special exhibition as part of the ‘Visible in Education’ conference, an event dedicated to challenging the erasure of survivor experiences within academic and institutional settings.

Installed at the heart of the conference, the exhibition featured powerful black-and-white portraits and testimonies from survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Each piece embodied the core mission of both Victorious Voices and Survivors West Yorkshire: to confront stigma, restore dignity, and ensure that lived experience is not only acknowledged, but centred.

This collaboration underscored the critical importance of visibility within institutions where silence has long prevailed. Together, Victorious Voices and Visible in Education challenged the status quo and called for a future in which survivor knowledge is not marginalised, but foundational.
