People of Manchester: 2025 marks a turning point when the work deepened, and I returned to the street with clarity and purpose. The series captures the rhythm of a city I know intimately: public space, passing glances, small gestures, and the quiet human detail that gives Manchester its character.
After years of shooting through personal chaos, 2025 was the year things began to shift. I exhibited multiple times, broke new ground with Victorious Voices, and had the surreal honour of dinner with Martin Parr at his foundation, a moment of recognition that felt like a signal to keep going.
Made in that season of return, these images carry a quieter confidence and a sharper attention. Rooted in street photography, they push toward something more deliberate: portraits of a city, and of what it means to be present inside your own life again.
This is Manchester, through the eyes of someone who fought to stay in the frame and finally stepped forward.
