People of Manchester: 2024 was shot in the margins of a year defined by survival; this series captures more than strangers on the street; it documents my refusal to stop seeing.
These shots were captured during one of the most chaotic chapters of my life, as I navigated the ongoing strain of a court case. When my world felt unstable, I turned to the city, its faces, routines, and fleeting street-stage moments, as a way to stay grounded and connected.
Each frame was made while carrying the weight of trauma and the urgency of staying creative.
These photographs are not only about the people I saw; they’re about not disappearing. A city in motion, and an artist choosing to remain in it.
