‘People of Manchester: 2024’

Shot in the margins of a year defined by survival, this series captures more than just strangers on the street, it documents my own will to keep seeing. People of Manchester 2023 is a street photography series born during the most chaotic chapter of my life, as I navigated the emotional wreckage of an ongoing court case. With my world spinning, I turned to the city, its faces, routines, and fleeting moments, as a way to stay grounded and connected.

Each frame was taken while carrying the weight of trauma and the urgency of staying creative. These photographs are not just about the people I saw, they’re about not disappearing. It’s a visual record of a city in motion, and an artist refusing to be still.
